Joan Patricia Spilotro

Pat was born on December 22, 1936 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late Roy and Lois Maurey.

Pat was a dedicated employee at United Airlines for 35 years and was able to travel around the United States and many locations around the world. Her favorite destinations were the Swiss Alps, Colorado, as well as the trips she took to Hawaii with her kids and grandkids.

She was an avid sewer and loved to attend craft shows. A longtime member of the Sweet Adelines Spring Valley in Schaumburg, she enjoyed singing with the group, and was an active participant in Music on Stage and Best of Broadway.

Pat was a familiar face at the casino, where she was known for her luck at penny slots and Bingo. Whether she was relaxing by her pool or spending time with family, Pat was happiest when surrounded by her loved ones.

Pat is survived by children; Pam (Steve) Conway, Steve (Stella) Spilotro and Beth (Chuck) Stevens; grandchildren, Tom, Sara, Steven, Dana, and Nicole. great-grandchildren, Kylie, Sebastian, William, Eliana and Madison. She was a loving sister to Ed and Sandra (nee Maurey) Samples, and a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Michael, and parents Roy and Lois (nee Mantz) Maurey.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the 10:00 am Funeral Mass on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at Saint Edna Catholic Church, 2525 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
