John L. Gadd

John L. Gadd, 80, Beloved husband of the late Yvonne M. (nee Hershey). Loving father of John (Elva), Mary (Todd) Benson, Scott (Kristin) and Cathy (Greg) Berg. Proud grandfather of John Pierre, Bill, Michael, Catherine, Noah, Logan, Joe, and Anna. John Gadd was a highly experienced real estate appraiser of over 50 years with an illustrious career with many designations and honors. He was a Fellow member and former International President of the American Society of Appraisers, member of Appraisal Institute MAI, Fellow member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors of Great Britain FRICS, founding board member of the Appraisal Standards Board of the Appraisal Foundation, and member of the Lambda Alpha International Fraternity. He loved art, drawing and traveling. He had great interest and love for all his children and grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday 8:30 AM until time of prayers 10:30 AM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Mass will be at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 South Mitchell Street, Arlington Heights. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery.
