John F. Sibley

John was a devoted, loving husband of Karen for 34 years. They enjoyed traveling the world together, a special trip being a pilgrimage to Italy with their church. In retirement, John was always happiest working with Karen, tending to their beautiful gardens at home, watching old movies, rooting for the White Sox and Bears, and keeping abreast of world news and politics. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his loving wife, Karen Sibley; brother, Frank (Terri) Sibley; and his nieces, nephews, and grand nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his sister-in-law, Laura Sibley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorial donations to be made to a charity of your choice in honor of John.

A visitation for John will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Saint Alphonsus Liguori Church, 411 N Wheeling Rd, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. Following the visitation will be a Memorial Mass from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM also at Saint Alphonsus Liguori Church. Inurnment to Immediately follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, 700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
