Jory- you were the firecracker we all needed in our lives. You were truly one in a million with a contagious laugh and smile and always dependable and caring. I am forever thankful that you came in and blessed all of our hearts with your wit,  sass and “yes” personality. 

 In a sense I feel cheated, like I’m sure most do. I feel like we had still had plans for the future and good times to be had. I always felt a sense of comfort with you, in my eyes, though we weren’t sister in laws, we were going to be the next cath and tree. We would be the ones to carry on the traditions for the family and I knew I would always be able to call you and ask “hey jor, can you bring the potatoes”, just like Cathy can with Tree. 

There are many great times that stick out in my mind, but this past thanksgiving really put into perspective the type of person you were inside. I was having a hard week that week, running around helping get ready for thanksgiving with Cathy. My husband was sick so I was staying in quarantine at Cathy’s for the week leading up and I just missed Tony and my house. When the extensive Capra family started shuffling in I felt like I heard my name 100 times and it was overwhelming. I needed a break from life, just for 5 minutes and I was screaming for help inside. At one point I could feel tears welling in my eyes and Jory made eye contact and she just knew I was done for the day. She said come on Kabes let’s go out for a smoke. When we got outside I bursted into tears and she squeezed me and I knew she just understood exactly how I felt without words. She reassured me of how great of a job I was doing and 2 minutes later, we were both laughing and all was good again. The relief that her hug provided me at that low in my day was unmatched and can never be duplicated. 

There were so many great times like Vegas, the Dells, pool days in the yard, basement parties and everything in between. I will miss the small Halloween things we would send to each other. I will miss your texts every time you watched Dumplin’. I will miss so much. The last time I saw you, you were exactly how you were supposed to me. I will carry you in my heart, forever and always. Every car show, every trip, every time I’m in the pool having a cold one, and anytime I see a Wonka or Dolly slot machine. Rest easy beautiful girl. My buddy Jorester 💜

Jory,  I have many memories of you, and I will miss you dearly. You always thought of others before yourself. You were a great friend to many and always went out of your way to celebrate someone or something.  Now it is our time to celebrate you and all you have taught us through your loyal and generous friendship.

Without a doubt the world lost a beautiful soul. I wish I knew the words to say to console all the people that Jory’s soul touched. I have no such words. I can share with you all, that Jory was always such a vibrant and larger than life kinda person. She had the most beautiful smile and laugh that could brighten anyone’s mood, and it’s true, her hugs were legendary. She was caring and giving of her time to others. She never hesitated to help anyone. When Jory called you friend, you were a friend for life. 

I was so very happy for her, when she found her soulmate and beloved husband, Joe. I could see happiness just exude from her smile. Then when she posted that she was pregnant. I was genuinely happy for her. She was finally getting her happily ever after, & everything she ever wanted.

I’m devastated for Joe, and all who knew her, that we all will be mourning the loss of an Angel. RIP You will be sorely missed!!!

Coach Jory  was one of the best coaches we had, she was very patient and very lovable to the athletes. She will be missed. But I know that she will be rooting for us from heaven.

Jory and I did not always get along, but during the instances that we did, I could tell she was someone filled with love and laughter. She was an ever-loving person that brought light into the lives of her family, the Capra family, and her friends. 

She was always someone who knew how to have fun and was the perfect complement to Joe’s happy-go-lucky antics. 

My last memory I have of Jory is when she came to celebrate my brother’s 30th birthday. That alone says a lot about who Jory is. She’s someone who always made time for others. Putting others before herself with every step. 

This is the last photo I have with Jory. It’s from a drinking competition with our friends where we were on the same team. This only proves the point further that even through her busy life, Jory never forgot to have fun and smile. 

That is exactly how I want to remember Jory. As a fun loving soul who was the perfect complement to the Capra fun madness, and someone whose memory will live on through our love and laughter for all of eternity.

Jory, you’ve made me laugh and smile more times than I can remember. I could write a book about all of our amazing memories. I don’t even have the words to share how many lives you’ve touched, how you knew how to throw a party, how you always knew the right words to say in every situation, and how you knew how to cook the best dishes in the world! I will miss our chats over a coors light, nights on the lake, eating on the patio at Bert’s and so much more. Love you always my sweet friend.

Jory was a magnetic force...a burst of energy and laughs at Trinity...she made our high school experience that much better.

Our prayers and thoughts to the Capra family.  My fondest memory of Jory was during her high school years, when she would lifeguard at Camp River Trails with Aunt Carolyn Gentry.  Jory loved water sports and also enjoyed helping out with the Girl Scouts during events such as Camporees, You and Me, and Summer Camp.  Heaven gained 2 angels.  Jory will be missed. Ohhhh Miss Jory, I'm still in shock, work will never be the same again without your wit, smile and humor.  I'm grateful to have gotten to know you over the last year and a half, you had an amazing soul.  I'm honored to call you my friend and you were one hell of a supervisor.

Jory will be truly missed. I knew her thru my daughter and she would always come w Joe to our block party when we lived on Melvina.
She threw the best Halloween parties, I love the one where her and Joe dressed up as svengoolie and the chicken. She was a kind and caring young women. As my granddaughter Maddie saids she gave the best hugs.

I think one of the best memories I have of Jory was when we were on a call with Wahl Brazil and her and i were talking while on there and she mentioned that the call was making her want to day drink and i said i would agree to that.  She was such an awesome person and even though i hadnt known her long I knew that she was amazing and will be truly missed.

I’ll remember Jory through this exact chain of events: always a greeting with a big warm smile and hug, followed by her look of either genuine love or disappointment depending on our conversation the night before, que a short but to the point lecture, shift gears to more big smiles and a remark that would make us laugh for 5 minutes. This was our morning routine, standing at her desk before starting our day. She was a real friend full of love , and had a way of making you feel so special and cared for. 
For years, she gathered all who wanted to join for our annual softball team and was the person to plan and organize our get-togethers. She kept us all close. 
I will always most think of our trip to the Dells with Joe, Sam, John, and Ben. The laughter throughout the entire weekend hurt our stomachs! When you first broke the news that you and Joe had started dating, and the shock on the the guys’ faces. I don’t think any one of us could have imagined the love that would grow between you! You found the love of your life, he showed you exactly the love and support you and I always talked about finding. I’m so happy you got to experience that love, and that dream of family between you, joe, and baby Capra, even for just that short amount of time. 
We will love you and miss you forever, Jory.

Jory’s contagious smile is an easy memory to recall. She had a brilliant smile and laugh and welcoming personality. She threw a helluva a party too! She brought a lot of us together and made memories to last a lifetime. My condolences to her family, she lives within you.
