Joyce S. Zimmer, 87, of Arlington Heights was born July 6, 1928 in New Orleans, LA to John E. and Josephine Sambola and passed away May 23, 2016. Joyce was the beloved wife of Peter B. Zimmer, Jr.; loving mother of Anne (Robert) Gannon, David (Carol) Zimmer and Joy (Scott) Dahlquist; cherished grandmother of Robert (Brittany) Gannon, Patrick Gannon, Devin Zimmer, Westley Zimmer, Blake Dahlquist and Grant Dahlquist. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 3:00 PM until time of funeral service 7:00 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.
