Judith Elizabeth Lippert

Judith Elizabeth Lippert was born on June 17, 1946 in Chicago, IL to Julio and Mary (nee Riccardi) Sachetti. She died on April 29, 2023 at the Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights surrounded by her loving family.

Judith attended Resurection High School and Northeastern Illinois University, where she met her husband Peter.

When Judith and Peter married, they settled in their forever home in Arlington Heights, IL where they raised their three daughters and became dedicated members of their parish, St. James of Arlington Heights.

As a member of St. James, Judith was an active Eucharistic Minister, Religious Education Teacher, and participated in other church sponsored events that included travel, volunteering for the less fortunate, and fundraising. She and her deceased husband, Peter, received the Archdiocese’s Christifideles Award presented to them by the Cardinal to honor their dedication to the church and its ministries. Judith’s most beloved ministry at St. James was the choir in which she shared the talent of her singing voice and her celebration of faith within God’s music.

Judith was employed by United Airlines for over 23 years as a customer relations manager at the headquarters in Elk Grove Village, IL.

Judith’s interests included a passion for the opera and music, travel, the arts, US history and historical preservation, gardening, hospitality and a great love for her family, friends and dogs.

Judy is survived by her daughters Susan E. (Charles Chauncey IV) Spencer, Nancie C. (Mark) Frighetto and Amy M. (James Jr.) Doman; her grandchildren Charlie, Henry, Reid, Reese., Drew and Jake; her sisters Diane (Arthur) LeBeau and Elizabeth M. (partner Karyl Gross) Allen; her aunt Deanna M. (late Vincent) Amato; she is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, God-children and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Peter G. Lippert as well as her parents.

Visitation on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south or Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Mass Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 10:00am at St. James Catholic Church 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines.
