Kathleen Ann Jordan

Katy Jordan, 80, was born July 28, 1943, in Oak Park, IL to William and Eileen (nee Irving) McLaughlin. She died Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Inverness Health & Rehab, in Inverness, Illinois.

Katy will be remembered for her love of dogs and horses. She was an avid field trial participant, frequently taking her dogs to the Eastern Shore of Maryland for field trials, and she raised championship Cleveland Bay horses in Delaplane, VA.

Katy is survived by her children, Brad (Sue), Theresa (Merrick), and Pat (Cass) along with her grandchildren, Ben, Ethan, Aaron, Grace, Faith, Ryan, Nick, and Ian; her great-grandson, Asher; and her brother, William McLaughlin.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Buck; and her parents.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, May 17, 2024, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Services and interment are private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of the donors' choice.
