Kathryn M. Kucik-Nissen, 85, formerly of Arlington Heights was born December 28, 1929 in Oak Park to the late Lester and Emily (nee Raguse) Hanses and passed away May 24, 2015. Kathryn was the beloved wife of the late Edmund M. Kucik Jr. and the late Alfred M. Nissen; loving mother of Curtis J. (Mary) Kucik and Candace M. (Christian) Kalischefski and cherished grandmother of Kelsey Rose Kucik. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 3-9 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights where the funeral service will be held Thursday, May 28 at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers contributions to the Treehouse Animal Foundation, 1212 W. Carmen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60640 would be appreciated.
