LaVerne Pondel

On Thursday, September 1, we lost LaVerne Pondel (nee Kolacki), the most wonderful Wife, Mother, Ma, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend any one could ever ask for. She loved her family more than anything. Her husband, Andrew, of over 60 years. Her daughter, Marilyn and Son-in-law, Tom Frank. Her son, Mark and Daughter-in-law, Laura Pondel, She was the most wonderful "Ma" to her beloved Andrew "Anj" Frank. Grandmother of Natasha (AJ), Madeline (Alex), and William (Vanessa). She was the cherished sister of Nancy Peterson, and Sister-in-law to the late George Peterson and Art (Barb) Pondel as well as the late Albert (Gerrie) Pondel. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Cherished friend of Jean Schriber for over 70 years, and Beverly Lind for over 50 and the late Rosemary Bopp. She loved all of her wonderful dogs..Nicky, Rinny, Tigger, Maxwell, Rah Rah, and Dexter.

We don't know how we will go on without her. She was the rock of our family. Our hearts are shattered. She is at peace now, and for that, we are all thankful for. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Leo and Estelle Kolacki,

We love you more than anything, Ma. You were our heart. You were our everything. We will love you forever, and never forget you.

Memorial Visitation Thursday, September 8, 2022 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, Il 60004. Interment will take place privately.
