Lawrence Lee Sacony

Lawrence Lee Sacony was born on August 20, 1947, in Chicago to Erwin (aka Szykowny) and Helen (Ryba) Sacony. He died October 14, 2023, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL.

Lawrence, who attended Marquette University, was a former banker for Harris Bank and later worked as a Manager of Retail stores for several years.

He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan and former 16" softball player. Though he has been residing in Arlington Heights for over 30 years, he proudly embraced his roots as a "South Sider." Lawrence held his faith close to his heart and was a member of St. Edna Catholic Church.

He is survived by his loving spouse of over 30 years, Julia Harris-Sacony; his daughters Tara (Bob) and Kimberley (Ron); and his beloved grandchildren Tyler, Jayden, and Ashton; and his brother Michael.

Larry is preceded in death by his late parents, two late brothers, his late sister.

All services will be private. Memorial donations in Lawrence's honor be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org (no flowers).
