Lawrence "Larry" Sullivan

Of Arlington Heights  

Lawrence " Larry" Sullivan was born on April 11, 1935 in Oak Park, Illinois to Lawrence and Marie (nee Barrett) Sullivan. He died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Brookdale Prospect Heights in Prospect Heights, Illinois. Larry was a CPA and Audit Partner with Price Waterhouse Coopers for 37 years and was a graduate of DePaul University with a B.S. in accounting. He was a board member of Inverness Country Club, past president of the School of Music Board for DePaul University, Past President of Ledger and Quill Accounting at DePaul University, he also sat on the Board of Chicago Child Care, and was past president and member of Delta Sigma Pi fraternity, and treasurer of the Finance Committee at St. James Catholic Church.  In his spare time his interests included golf, model trains, jazz music, 16" softball, Chicago White Sox, DePaul Basketball, 52 year Northwestern ticket holder and  enjoyed studying Civil War History. Lawrence "Larry" is survived by his wife of 51 years, Geraldine (nee Kuhn) Sullivan; children, Mary (Dan) Raupp, Patti (Brian) Galasso, and Ann Marie (Scott) Hokanson; grandchildren Jonathon Raupp, Caroline Raupp, Daniel Raupp, Patrick Raupp, Alexander Galasso, Abigail Galasso, Elizabeth Hokanson, Scotty Hokanson, Andrew Hokanson, Hailey Hokanson, Jacoby Hokanson; sisters-in-law, Frances (Nick) DiBlasi, and Mary Ann (Dennis) Bergau; brother-in-law Raymond Cohen; many nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marie Cohen. Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, September 1, 2017 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Rd (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights, Illinois. Prayers at the funeral home, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 9:15 am, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N.
