Leonard Thomas Zernone

Leonard Thomas Zernone, 75, was born September 22, 1947, in Chicago, IL to Lucas and Antoinette (nee Grisaffe) Zernone. He died Thursday, September 21, 2023, in Deer Park, Illinois.

Leonard honorably served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a commercial truck driver and owner of 20270 N. Rand Rd., LLC. In past years he enjoyed spending time riding his Harley Davidson with his childhood friend, Dennis.

Leonard is survived by his children Kimberly, Melissa, and Leonardo; his grandchildren and great grandchildren: his sisters Linda (Jimmy) and Sandy; and his best friend and business partner, Danielle Hermanson.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004, where a funeral service for Len will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Interment following at Maryhill Cemetery, Niles, Illinois.
