LeRoy A. Hamilton, 82 of Wheaton was born January 7, 1931 in Milbank, SD to the late Paul and Jenny Hamilton and passed away February 2, 2013 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield. LeRoy was a 27 year veteran of the U.S. Navy retiring in 1979 at the rank of Captain. He was the beloved husband of the late Shirley M. Hamilton; loving father of Susan Price, Steven K. (Linda) Hamilton and Scott W. (Carolyn) Hamilton; cherished grandfather of Nathan (Amber) Price, Blake (Miriam) Hamilton, Katie Hamilton, Chip (Leeann) Duncan, Scott Duncan and Jennifer (Ryan) Bashman; great grandfather of Addison, Tyler, Elisabeth, Andru, Nick, Tyler, Erik, Rebecca, Ashlynn, Duncan, Brooklynn and Beau and dear brother of Lois (Leonard) Stengel, Eugene (Connie) Hamilton and the late Donald Hamilton. Visitation will be Thursday February 7, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home 2000 E. Northwest Highway Arlington Heights where funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM.
