Leslie H. Mantwell

Leslie H. Mantwell was born September 30, 1923 in Chicago to the late Herman and Julia (nee Schramek) Mantwell and passed away June 12, 2013 in Arlington Heights.Leslie served our country during WWII in the United States Army

Company B of the 6th Ranger Battalion.He was a proud employee of the Coca-Cola Company for 40 years.

Leslie was the beloved husband of the late Clara M. (nee Nagel) for 54 years; loving father of Deborah (Lawrence) Butler, Mark (Karon) Mantwell, Kurt (Lawrie) Mantwell and Dawn (Jeremiah) Sullivan; cherished grandfather of Kimberly (Nick) Pellegrino, Patrick Sullivan, Megan Mantwell and Heather Sharpe; great-grandfather of Joshua Rhodes, Isabella Pellegrino, Christopher and Brennan Sharpe and Linkin Light and dear brother of the late Lavergne Salveson.Visitation will be Monday June 17, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service 12 Noon at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home 2000 E. Northwest Highway Arlington Heights. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Heart Association. The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr. Ghanshyam Shah and Mary Sterrenberg for the excellent care they have provided to Leslie over the years.
