I was shocked and saddened when I learned of Linda's passing.
I am Mickey ne Trost. Linda and I go way back to the 70' s from out beloved group we called the Golden Girls (Mimi David, Linda Howe, our Linda and me) We called ourselves the L &  Ms and were later joined by Marilyn Zillion.
I'm sure Mr & Mrs Motekey will remember me as well as Megan and Danielle. 
Linda was the baby of the group and I am the oldest (strange).
I'm upset that I missed the services. I'm scheduled for surgery In 5 days and can't chance getting sick. I wish so badly to be in contact with someone in the family. A phone call, address, etc. would be lovely after the week of the 16th.  In the meantime my heartfelt prayers and love are with you all.

I interviewed with Linda in 2001 at Ungaretti & Harris and got the impression that she would be a good person with whom to work. As the saying goes, first impressions are lasting. Over the course of 21 years, I found this to be true. She was an easy person to share a smile or laugh. I will miss her. My sincere condolences to her family.

I had the honor of working with Linda at Nixon Peabody since 2015. Her positive outlook, friendly nature and above all else her fun spirit were infectious to everyone around her. I enjoyed working with her very much and although I didn't have the chance to see her every day, when we were able to work on cross-office projects together I always knew we'd have some fun along the way. We shared a love for dogs and I enjoyed seeing Lola and Romeo make cameo appearances on our Webex calls often. My heart breaks for her family and I send you my sincerest condolences. Linda will truly be missed but never forgotten.

I am so sorry about the loss of Linda.  She was such a kind person.  I never heard her utter a harsh word.  I will truly miss her. Please accept my condolences regarding Linda Clardy's passing.  She was a kind and pleasant person, and had a wonderful, sincere and caring spirit.  She will be greatly missed.

I met Linda when I joined Nixon Peabody LLP late 2019. From my very first day at NP, she consistently took the time to reach out and check whether I was enjoying my time at the firm, took genuine interest in my career goals and personal life, provided invaluable advice, and was a pillar of support for myself and others with her open-door policy and warm hospitality. Linda was someone who truly wanted colleagues and those around her to thrive. She was my biggest advocate when I aspired for another position within our firm and went above and beyond in supporting my application. I was truly touched by her enthusiasm on my behalf. That is the kind of person Linda was. The epitome of positivity and an exemplary role model for what it means to be an ally in the workplace. Ever so humble, I only ever heard her praise and share stories of our colleagues’ accomplishments and good news. It was obvious and inspiring how dedicated she was to the firm, and how much she valued those around her. Work matters aside, she often shared stories of her time spent with her grandchildren and family, whom she absolutely adored. My heart goes out to them for this devastating loss. I am so sorry that she is gone and will very much miss her.

God had a shortage of Angels and called upon her!  😇🙏🏻!  May she rest in peace!

I worked with Linda on the construction of Nixon Peabody's new office space.  She was so kind and warm-hearted and worked so hard to make the space great for the everyone at the firm.  It was a pleasure to work with her and an honor to know her.

We had a love for dogs, that was our bond.

Linda was a wonderful person to work and coordinate with. She was always pleasant and funny, someone it was easy to feel comfortable with and talk to. I was so shocked and sorry to hear of her passing, and her presence in the building will be greatly missed.

Danielle, Megan and the rest of Linda's family.  I was shocked to hear of Linda's passing.  We worked together twice in the past.  Ages ago at Rooks Pitts & Poust and again at Ungaretti & Harris.  She touched the lives of so many people.  May her memory be eternal.

Linda was my roommate and dear friend from Northwood University and we have remained friend since that time. She was a wonderful friend to so many. I am shocked and saddened by this news. My sincere condolences to Linda’s family. Love and sympathy, Julie Lerash

Linda brought enthusiasm, optimism and a can-do approach to her work as our Chicago Office Administrator for almost 25 years.

She always made time to address problems large and small in a constructive way. She was the first to offer a kind word or helping hand.  She did it all with a smile and a ready laugh, often while wearing her festive sweater, antlers, or whatever the event called for.   

Linda inspired us with her commitment to community service too. She coordinated our support for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots / Operation Christmas program for over 20 years, collecting donations, shopping for toys in her free time, wrapping hundreds of packages, and driving loads and loads of presents to the distribution center. Linda also organized many Chicago River cleanup and other community beautification efforts.

She leaves a large hole in our hearts, in our Chicago office and at our firm. We will miss her greatly.
