Linda L. Soch

Linda L. Soch was born on April 5, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Louis J. and Grace (nee Cameron) Hafencher Jr. She died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at home.

Linda was retired for many years but most recently worked as Senior Manager of Client Support at McKesson Solutions in Wheeling. She also worked for many years at Baxter International.

She was active in her neighborhood group, dining out or playing cards with her good friends and neighbors. She was extremely grateful for their thoughtfulness and kindness in her final days. She also served on the board of her Homeowner’s Association.

She was an avid pet lover and will be missed dearly by her dog Bailey. She also provided a loving home for many other lucky pets over the years.

Linda is survived by her sister Christine (Dennis Hood) Williams and her brother Louis J. (late Carol) Hafencher III. She will be fondly remembered by her nephews Scott (Lola Kwan), Jeff (Dawn) and Karl (Colleen), her great nephews Matthew, Christopher, and Noah; her great nieces Madison and Bella; her former husband and good friend Lee Soch and by many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her sister, Deanna Lynn Hafencher.

All services and interment are private.
