Lourdes Alicia Rodriguez was born on November 2, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to Adelaida nee Galarza and Genaro Rodriguez. The youngest of three siblings, Lourdes was playful, mischievous, and most of all loving. She was a friend to many and a generous compassionate soul. Lourdes had been sick for a long-time but always maintained her kindness, grace, and appreciation for her friends but most of all her family. She will always be remembered for her witty sense of humor, her loud laugh, and the many kind deeds she bestowed on her family and friends. She loved the Bears, the Bulls, and her beloved Cubbies. A great light has gone to join her heavenly family.
Lourdes is preceded in death by her parents and her late sister-in-law Nancy Rodriguez. She is survived by her brother Genaro (Catherine), her sister Ana Vilma, her nephew David Anthony Rodriguez and his family Charity Ortiz, Alleyah Genosa, and Brayden Genosa.
Visitation Monday, February 9, 2026, 9:00 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 10am at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Inurnment will be private.
