Lucius "Al" W. AlexanderLucius "Al" W. Alexander was born June 29, 1923 in Fairbury, IL to Howard and Mabel (nee Carter) Alexander. He died July 2, 2014 at the Westbury Care Center in Lisle.Lucius served in the Navy during WWII.Lucius is survived by his children Kimberly (Michael) Armbruster, Virginia (Donald) Umbdenstock and William Alexander; his grandchildren Christopher and Sarah Armbruster, Jonathon Umbdenstock, and Ryan (Kasandra) and Lee Alexander; his great-grandchildren, Riley and Kalli Alexander; his stepchildren William L. (Catherine) Behrend, Susan L. (Michael) Updike, Carol J. McLuckie, and June A. Behrend; his stepgrandchildren, Michael and Michelle Behrend, Megan, Madison, and Morgan McLuckie, Nick and Caitlin Updike, and Michael and Thomas Rahman.Lucius is preceded in death by his wives Helen V. (nee Folsom) and Dorothy J. (nee Lutter); his brother Carter (late Ruby) Alexander, his sisters Mary Ann (late Robert) Andrews and Nancy Alexander.Visitation Monday, July 7, 2014 from 3 PM until the time of service at 7 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.
