So many memories of fun times with our families. Remember the Easter celebration in the Village? Events where the bunny would visit with the kids and we'd put together activities for all the children in the community? It's hard to share just one memory when I have 4 decades worth. I'm so sad for the loss of her in my life. Sending Ken, Jenny, and Danny (and their families too) much love during this difficult time.

I met Lynne in person only one time. Several years ago,  Ken came for a haircut and Lynne came along because Ken was going thru some health issues, and she just wanted to be sure he’d be ok.  She was so easy to talk with  and had a great sense of humor.  I could see her love for Ken, and thru 35 plus years of knowing Ken, I heard often of his love for Lynne.   For all those years, Lynne never missed sending me a gift of appreciation at Christmas.  Lynne’s  perseverance is something I will always look to in my own times of need.  Two amazing people, there for each other.

My sincere condolences to Lynn’s family. I had the privilege of being a TAB member with Lynn for several years.  We became friends and advisors to each other.  I will always remember her inviting smile and sincerity.   Greg Lehn, LM Consultants, Inc.

Many years ago, just the same as when meeting Ken, knew we would be life long best of friends. Didnt know at that time it would develop into a family package. Also didnt know we truly had an angel among us ,one to always care so deeply and profoundly ,one to always actively listen and share,  one whose guidance will not only be in memory but help  us for the rest of our lives. Will be on the look for your signs of guidance.  Serenity now, just words? Lynne's words, their place and now Lynne's essence. Forever in our hearts with love.

Lynne was one of the most caring loving and understanding person I've ever known. I had the honor of working with her for over 30 yrs. I will always  remember she would call me on my birthday, I was exactly 1 week older than her and say something like "how does it feel to be an old geezer. I loved it that she remembered my birthday and we could banter back and forth in good fun. I had some of the best times  of my life working with her.       Proud retire from BOM  Rick greenway.

Good Morning Ken. Jenny & Dan. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Lynne Fought a courageous battle. With her cancer. I will have masses read for her. As well as light some candles for her at church. I know you have all been through  a lot. But she is no longer suffering. She is in heaven. Be strong. She was a great lady.

Many of the residents of Port Barrington will remember Lynn for the time she put in as a Village Board member and also serving on the Plan Commission. Her efforts as a Trustee helped bring many improvements including badly needed city sewer to our town, was Chairperson of the Park Committee, and helped write the new Comprehensive Plan in the early 90's as a member of the Plan Commission. As you can see, she did her best to make P. B. a better place to live. Her family should be very proud of the things she accomplished on top of being a good provider, good wife, and good mother. It was a pleasure working with Lynn through the years.

Millie, I will miss you in so many ways. I still remember the first time meeting you and the HUGE hug you gave me. Love you always.

Grandma Lynne, I remember when we went to the Harlem Globetrotters game. It was such a blast!!! For the fall, we would go pumpkin picking. That was also so much fun!! After pumpkin picking, we would go to Lucky Monk. You and Grandpa Kenny would laugh and smile when we drank the chocolate from the straw. Your smile always made me smile. I miss you MOHR than words can say. Someday I will be in heaven with you. I hope you can still make your awesome food for Thanksgiving! I love you so much!!!   Love,  Lexi

The world lost an amazing woman on Sunday. I will miss our monthly brunches where we would both have to tear ourselves away from the booth and Apologize to the waitress for staying for 3 hours. She would bring an envelope filled with pictures of her children, and their children, and the progress on the house they were building in Montana. Then we would argue about who was paying this time before we shared the world’s longest hug in the parking lot. To say she will be missed is an understatement.  I’m so sorry for your Family’s loss. Lynne was one of my favorite people.

Lynn was the daughter of my very best ever friend, Jeannine Gasser. After her mom passed, Lynne became such a dear friend. We shard many a lunch and conversations together.
