Marian L. Boyd was born on July 20, 1927 in DeKalb, Illinois to Louis and Bertha (nee Van Amburg) Riebock. She died Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Saratoga Grove Assisted Living in Downers Grove, Illinois.

Marian spent her early years competing in roller skating competitions and singing on the local radio. She worked as an office worker for Cinch Manufacturing where she met her husband, Harold.

She enjoyed being a representative selling Avon products for many years. She was a member of the Moving On group and spent many evenings on group outings dancing the night away.

She loved the Chicago Bulls and enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends. Her family was her world and she loved them with all of her heart.

Marian is survived by her daughter Karen Levin; her son James (Amie) Boyd; her grandchildren Steven (Kimberly) Boyd, Daniel (Danielle) Levin, Samantha (Brian) Adler and Sam Boyd; her great-grandchildren Madison Boyd, Emma Boyd and Mason Adler; her sisters Marilyn Riebock, Carolyn Leifheit and Linda (Larry) Hamlett; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Harold R. Boyd; her parents, as well as her sister Betty (late Earl) Edwards.

Visitation Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 10:00 am until the time of Funeral Service at 1:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Arlington Heights.
