Nancy Jane Hogan

Nancy Hogan, 85, passed away on May 18, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born on September 2, 1936, in Chicago, IL, to the late, James and Clara Runkle.

She graduated from Austin High School. And married [late Donald Hogan] on July 9, 1960.

Nancy was best known for being a kind, loving Mother and Grandmother to her family, which included her seven children: Laura, Donald, Linda (Bruce)Johnson, Margaret (Jeff) Martinez, James (Nancy), Dorothy (Thomas) Delury, and Deborah (Marc) Smith. Her nineteen grandchildren, Alexa, Brian (Kathy), Samantha, Joseph, Dakota, Donald III, Michael, Nicole (Aaron), Colleen, Casey, Jacob, Patrick, Kathleen, James Jr., Allison, Joshua, Daniel, Jessica, and Mary; and her three great-grandchildren, Isla, Winter and Carter; and her siblings Annette and the late Harold, Robert, James, Edward, and Betty.

Nancy's greatest passion was time spent surrounded by family. She enjoyed big family holidays & parties, hanging out together watching her favorite sports teams (Bears, Cubs, Notre Dame), a day at the racetrack, vacations in Vegas, and playing bingo with her sisters. She loved reading, gardening, and spending time outside in the sun. Once you spent time with her, you were family. Nancy welcomed everyone with a big smile and a great sense of humor. Through her unconditional love and support for her family, she has created an unbreakable bond for generations to come. She simply was our everything!

Visitation Monday, May 23, 2022, from 3:00 until 8:00 pm at the Glueckert Funeral Home, ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, and from 10:00 until 10:45 am, Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2515 W. Palatine Rd., Inverness, Illinois. Funeral Mass 11:00 am. Interment private.
