Nancy A McCutcheon

Nancy was born on February 7, 1947 in Chicago, IL to the late Madge and Mitchell Curylo. Nancy was a loving wife to Michael L. McCutcheon for 58 years. Nancy was the loving mother to Michelle (Dave) Petersen and Gary McCutcheon. She was a cherished grandmother of Michael G. McCutcheon, Jonathan P. McCutcheon, and Cassandra A. Petersen. She was a loving great-grandmother to Peyton. She was a fur-mom to her beloved cat, Shadow.

Nancy was an accomplished hairdresser for the majority of her career. She was very artistic, enjoying ceramics and flower arranging as well as planning and hosting parties for family and friends. Nancy also enjoyed music, cooking, baking, traveling with family and friends, reading, and going to casinos. Nancy was the founding member “Queen Mother” of her Red Hat Chapter and enjoyed getting together with her fellow Red Hat ladies. Nancy was a member of the National Oldsmobile Club as well as the Illinois Valley Oldsmobile Club (IVOC) where she enjoyed attending car show events with her family and fellow members with their 1950 “88” Oldsmobile. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Thursday June 27, 2024 from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Mass to be held Friday June 28, 2024 at 10:00 AM St. Thomas of Villanova 1201 E Anderson Dr, Palatine, IL 60074. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery 2501 E. Euclid Ave. Arlington Heights, IL 60004.

Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Nancy.
