Patricia Luella ParhadOf Mount ProspectPatricia Luella Parhad, 89, was born on January 22, 1926 in Marble, Minnesota. Her adopted parents were Edward and Isabelle (nee Effinger) Johnson. She went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 20, 2015 passing peacefully in her sleep.Patricia is survived by her Son, Ramsey Parhad, Daughter, Amal Isabel (Dennis) Guevin.She was preceded in death by former husband Sam Parhad and special nephew MarkParhad.She had the joy of finally discovering the identity of her birth parents Marco and JelaKapujdia of the Balkans.She retired after 32 years from Harnischfeger Crane Corporation. She was a long time volunteer in Spiritual Services at Holy Family Hospital, DesPiaines. She had many hobbies and a love for people. Patti was an accomplished writer with many short stories published in local newspapers. She was also an excellent artist in oil and acrylics. She was especially beloved by all her family and friends, a loving heart andsympathetic ear and an unyielding support and loving mom to her children. She was soproud of her extended family through marriage.
