

Paul J. GreeneOf Arlington HeightsPaul J. Greene was born on April 1, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter and Catherine (nee Wojack) Zielinski. He died Saturday, January 9, 2016 in Arlington Heights.Paul served in the U.S Marine Corps Reserve. He worked for many years as a Cutting Die Maker for Westphal Mold in Hillside and as a Research Model Maker for Kendall Company in Barrington. He was a long-time member of St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. He was interested in art, music, movies, aviation, especially World War II aircraft, and sports, particularly Notre Dame football. Paul loved to spend time with his family, and he took great interest in all of the activities of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Paul is survived by his children: Christine (Bill) Widinski, Paul M. (Sandy) Greene, Laura (Rick) Harkewicz, Claudia Greene, and Lisa Greene; grandchildren, Ross (Julie) Widinski, Kimberly (John) Widinski Sims, Jennifer (Tony) Kaap, Elizabeth (Jason) Berg, Paul K. Michael Greene, and Margaret Greene; great-grandchildren, Peter Widinski, Rosemary Widinski, Evelyn Sims, Alexander Sims, and Jackson Berg.He was preceded in death by spouse, Rosemarie, grandson, Matthew Widinski; his parents; and his brother, Walter Greene.Visitation on Monday, January 25, from 10:00 am until the time of the 11:00 am Funeral Mass at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
