Raymond J. Lewis

Raymond J. Lewis was born October 9, 1932 in Fleur de Lys, Newfoundland, Canada to James and Mary Lewis. He passed away peacefully on January 17, 2024 at his home in Arlington Heights.

Ray is survived by his wife Dorothy (nee Higdon) Lewis; his children Cheryl Lynn (David) Furmanek, Ray (Sherri) Lewis and Janine Lewis; his grandchildren Victoria, Jaxson, Hope, Madison, Emma, Michael and Cooper; his siblings Mary (late Dick) Gallagher, Jim (Anita) Lewis and Rosemarie (Ray) Macnamera and by many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Ray is preceded in death by his brothers Fred, Les and Dave and by his parents.

Visitation Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private.
