Of Saint Charles formerly of Arlington Heights

Regina Catherine Kroll passed away peacefully on Friday, August 21, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Regina was born on August 7, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Frank Dumelle and Regina (nee Gerhardt) Bastian. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Bill) Galivan, her stepson Leslie (Susan) Kroll; her grandchildren Madeline, Amelia, John, and Rachel; as well as her brother Frank (late Elaine) Dumelle, her sister Caryl (Tom) Jonas and many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her spouse Samuel Kroll as well as her first husband Peter J. Kornacker, and her sisters Anne (late Kalmer) Moe, Catherine (late Louis) Chapman, JoAnn (late Joseph) Polito and her brothers John (Cheri) Bastian, Nick (Boni) Bastian and Richard (Cheri) Bastian. Also joining her in Heaven are her stepson Allan (late Melanie) Kroll; and her grandchildren Catherine and Samantha.

Her true love was spending time with her family, especially all the young people who she took great joy in watching grow up.

Visitation on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004 (capacity limits, PPE requirements and social distancing in effect)

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 South Mitchell Avenue, Arlington Heights, Illinois (also with capacity limits, PPE requirements and social distancing) Interment immediately following at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
