He died Thursday, May 21, 2015 in Tybee Island, Georgia.Rick was employed by Walgreens for 43 years, where he served as manager, at the Oak Park Walgreens location. He was an avid White Sox and Bears fan, spent many years enjoying coaching his kids" baseball teams, enjoyed cars and auto racing, loved to spend time in Tybee Island, Georgia with his family, and was loved by all.He is survived by his Spouse Donna (nee Kuzel), whom he married January 18, 1975 in Arlington Heights; children, Steven (Laurel) Diver and Kristine Diver, grandchildren, Carson Diver, Liam Crowley, Declan Crowley and Olivia Diver; sister, Sandra (Thomas) Hill; and best friends Mac and Bailey.Rick was preceded in death by his parents.A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 9:00 am until the time of the 1:30 pm Celebration of Life Service at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
