Richard "Dick" Henderson

Dick Henderson was born on June 11, 1928 in Chicago to Glen and Helen (nee Larson) Henderson. He died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.Dick Henderson was owner of Educational Marketing Service a company he started in 1985 and retired in 1996. He was a member and past president of the Lauderdale Lakes Association . Dick enjoyed his lake home and entertaining friends and family.Richard is survived by his children, John (Mary) Henderson, Mark Henderson, Steve Henderson, David (Shannon) Henderson and Kate (Roman) Dziubyk; his 14 grandchildren, two great grandchildren; his sisters, Karen (Joseph) Shafer and Nancy Mulcahy; and his daughter in law Elizabeth.He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ruth C. (nee Dickman) Henderson; his son, William Henderson; his grandson Michael Dziubyk; and by his parents.Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (3 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 am Monday, March 2, 2015 at Glueckert Funeral Home proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am.
