Richard H. Keyes was born on December 23, 1935, in Oak Park to Herman and Evelyn (nee Zackman) Keyes. He died Wednesday, January 26, 2022, in Elgin.
Mr. Keyes served in the United States Army in the 82 Airborne as a medic. He was self-employed worked as a pipe fitter. Richard loved fishing, playing cards(pinochle) and cars. Richard loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was loved by all.
Richard is survived by his children, Kenneth Keyes and Constance Boudwin; grandchildren, Timothy (Fiance Brittany Lang) Keyes, Sarah Boudwin and Kristina Keyes and ex-wife Karen Keyes.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation Sunday, January 30, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am, Monday, January 31, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment is private.
