

Ronald J. Chudik MD, 68, passed away peacefully September 24, 2012 at home in Arlington Hts. Ron graduated from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Francis in Evanston. For 36 years, he was a well respected obstetrician-gynecologist in the Northwest Suburbs. During that time, he was a Clinical Assistant Professor for Loyola and served as Chairman of the Alexian Brothers Ob-Gyne Dept. Ron loved to experience the world through his many travels and hobbies and believed anything was possible. His favorite pastime was being with his loving family and good friends. He was born October 18, 1943 in Chicago to the late Joseph and Adele (nee Firszt) Chudik and was the devoted husband of Kathleen J. (nee Hora) for 43 years; loving father of Steven (Michele) Chudik, Brian (Kimberley) Chudik, Amy Chudik (Matthew) Mullane and Matthew (Rebecca) Chudik; cherished grandfather of Quinton, Ella, Maggie, Libby, Cullen, Emma, Maiya and Isabell; dear brother of Christine (late Terry) Beynon, Joseph (Phyllis) Chudik and Dennis Chudik and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday September 27, 2012 from 3-8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home 2000 E. Northwest Highway Arlington Heights. Prayers will be said Friday September 28 at 8:45 AM at the funeral home and proceed to Our Lady of the Wayside Church 440 S. Mitchell Street Arlington Heights for funeral mass at 9:30 AM.
