Rosanna Glueckert was born June 19, 1937, in Chicago to Patsy "Pat" and Cecilia (nee DeSalvo) Airdo. She died Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.
Rosanna was a graduate of Trinity High School and attended Northern Illinois University where she joined the Kappa Delta Sorority and made life-long friendships. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Rosary Council Ladies Axillary and P.E.O. Chapter ER. She is also a former member of Arlington Heights Allied Arts Guild.
Roe enjoyed spending time with her husband, John, at their condo in Las Vegas. She loved playing her favorite Buffalo slot machines while he handicapped every thoroughbred track across the US. Roe also enjoyed golfing with the St. James Ladies League and bowling with the Sherwood Ladies League for many years.
She is survived by her children John W. Glueckert, Jr.; Mary Cecilia "Marcie" (Marc Heidkamp) Glueckert-Heidkamp, and Jacqueline (Chris Mahon) Glueckert; her grandchildren Riley Mahon, Alexi Heidkamp, Carson Mahon, and Seth Heidkamp; her brother Vincent Airdo; and her many nieces, nephews, cousins, members of her extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; her brother, Pat Airdo, and her sister, Elizabeth Airdo.
Visitation from 1:00 until 5:00 pm, Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers 10:15 am, Monday at the Funeral Home proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Hts., IL 60004 for Mass at 11:00 am. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to P.E.O. ER Chapter, C/O Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. (.
