We had the good fortune of running into Mrs Biel every now and then at different neighborhood spots and every time she would ask about our kids and always remembered their names, no matter how many years had passed! Such a great kindergarten teacher and an even better lady! Deepest condolences to her family. She will  be greatly missed. RIP Mrs Biel

I’m sure that I join a long list of people who were so positively affected by Rosemarie’s love for teaching. She taught all three of my children, and changed their lives forever. I’m reminded of that poem about how everything you learn about life you learn in kindergarten.  My favorite line of hers was during parent-teacher orientation: “I promise to believe only half of what your children say about what happens in the home if you promise to believe only half of what they say happens at school!”  What a class act she was.  She will be missed by everyone who knew her. ❤️  Fare well, Rosemarie. I look forward to meeting you on the other side.  All my love to her and her family, Keith Kaufmann, and Sarah, Sophie, and Matthew as well.

I remember Ms. Biel not only as a neighbor that lived behind us in Arlington Heights as the younger of 2 kids growing up that would go over to see her, not only as my Favorite Kindergarten Teacher (or favorite Teacher at all for that matter) but I knew her for being the kindest, most warm hearted person that took me in during a time I was taken from my family during my 5th and 6th grade and let me stay with her. I have so many fond memories of her. I'm so sorry to her Family and Friends for your loss. It was such a pleasure to know her. I did have the opportunity to talk with her a few years back and I let her know how much she meant to me and how I had always thought of her through the years and I always will. I Love you Ms. Biel You made such a great impact on my life. Ty so much you will never be forgotten.

A kindergarten teacher welcomes small and slightly scared children into an environment where they will spend most of their waking hours learning and absorbing everything from A-Z and beyond.  How fortunate that my children and many others from the Patton School were able to be taught and guided by Rosemary   Beil.  She taught our children to dance, sing, love and learn.  Every day they were met in a warm and cozy classroom by someone they learned to trust and respect.  And she did all this in high heels.  Thank you, Rosemary, for starting all of our children on the right path.

Dear Jim and Steven,
I'm so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of her... all those days, and all the summers I spent at your house when we were little... She was always so kind, and caring. And then she opened your home to my sister and I when we were going through some tough times, and I will forever be grateful for the love and friendship she gave me during such an emotionally trying time. The heart-to-heart talks I had with her during that time have stayed with me throughout my life.  She helped me so much, and words just can't express how grateful I am for that. I will never forget her, and I will always be thankful for her being there for me. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you and your entire family.
