She was a member of the Sweet Adelines.Ruth is survived by her children, Alan (Bridget) and Larry A. (Kathy) Murdoch; her grandchildren Melaina Murdoch, Melissa (Brian) Douros, Lewis Murdoch, E.J. Lucas and Beth (Chad) Christell; her great grandchildren, Keira Murdoch, Alexiz Gonzalez, Chase and Channing Douros and Madison Christell.She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis; her Brother, Hank (the late Dolly) Maiwurm, her sisters, Dorothy (the late Harold) Devine and Betty (the late Howard) Murdoch and her parents.Visitation from 3:00 pm until 7:30 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Funeral Service TBD pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
