Of Buffalo Grove
Sam G. Mosillami was born July 27, 1952 in Chicago to Sal and Rose (nee Del Marto) Mosillami. He died October 3, 2020 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Sam was an avid lover to musical theater. He prided himself on seeing the original production of Les Miserables while he was in London in the late 80’s. He also was obsessed with coffee. Every morning for the nearly 30 years of his marriage, he brought his wife a cup to the bedside first thing in the morning.
Mentor, teacher, listener but most of all friend are just a few titles to give our beloved Sammy. A gentle demeanor, Sammy was bright, logical and systematic in his thinking. He was always willing to share his ideas and information. His colleagues found him to be a splendid person of great intellect and an even bigger heart. In his career at Telerate he worked with passion, integrity and energy. Sammy was genuinely warm and a wonderful individual - all of his colleagues will dearly miss.
Sam is survived by his wife Lauriann (nee Moser) Mosillami; his daughters Jenna Mosillami and Rissy Mosillami; his Aunt Joesphine Mosillami; his father, Salvatore Mosillami; his cats Eddie and CeCe and by his many brother and sister in laws and cousins.
He preceded in death by his mother, Rose Mosillami.
Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2020 from 9:00 am until the time of funeral service at 10:00 am at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
