Sharon Mary Moceri

Of Prospect Heights

Sharon Mary Moceri was born September 28, 1951 in Chicago to Raymond James and Ann (nee Brough) Roelle. She died peacefully December 15, 2022 at her home, with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sharon was a faithful and active member of St. Gregory’s Church. Her Christian faith always guided her to help others through numerous charitable endeavors. She was a world traveler and loved the beach. As an avid reader, Sharon was a member of multiple book clubs. She was an active gardener and enjoyed making floral arrangements. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

Sharon is survived by her husband Daniel Moceri; her children Danielle (Blair) McLaughlin, Paul (Michelle) Moceri and Michael (Megann) Moceri; her grandchildren Miller, Emmett, Lucia, Kara and Emerson; her nieces and nephew Dawn, Denise, Jenny and Quentin and many other loving family members.

She is preceded in death by her siblings Margaret, Bonnie and Carol and by her parents.

Visitation Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at St. Gregory’s Church, 815 Wilmot Road, Deerfield, IL 60015 from 9:45 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
