Shirley Lorraine Larson was born December 2, 1922, in Chicago, IL to the late Clarence and Erna (nee Kalff) Thunberg, and passed away peacefully September 13, 2012, at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. Shirley was the beloved wife of Charles Larson; loving mother of Donald (Sandra) Larson, Glenn (Lynn) Larson, Diane (Tim) Paschal, and Cheryl (Rob) Williams; proud grandmother of Emily, Meagan (Mark), Kirsten (Mike), Abbe, Shelby (Dan), Molly, Bryce (Michele), Reid, Julie, Haley, Tierney, Scott, and Chase; and great grandmother of Owen and Drew. Mrs. Larson was a long time and active member of Park Ridge Presbyterian Church, and member of P.E.O. In accordance with her wishes, private services were held. A public memorial service will be held at a later date.
