Stephan Raymond Brown

Steve grew up in the city of Chicago and attended Gordon Tech High School. He began working as a printer at Benefit Trustmark where he would eventually meet his partner for life, Rhonda. Steve and Rhonda married in June of 1979 and became parents to two children, Drew and Beth. Steve loved fishing, the outdoors, and enjoyed many family vacations across the country. He enjoyed music and was a skilled guitar player. He was a proud Cubs fan who never missed a game and his family is grateful he saw his beloved Cubs win the World Series.

He was a supportive and protective father and husband, always looking after his family and the pets he adored. He loved being a grandpa and was kind to anyone he met. We will miss him dearly.

Steve is survived by his wife Rhonda; his son, Drew; his daughter Beth (Danny) Harvey; his grandchildren Max, Maya, and Miles; his brother-in-law, Russ Latimer; his sister-in-law, Wendy (Jeff) Morgan; his niece and nephews, Chris, Scott, Brooke, Blake, and Dylan; and his beloved dog Ty.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. A brief graveside service will take place at Irving Park Cemetery on Tuesday, May 30th at 10:00 am.
