Steven Thomas Monson, Jr., 35, was born February 2, 1987 in Arlington Heights, Illinois to Steven and Dawn (nee McDougall) Monson. Sr. He died Thursday, January 12, 2023, at his home.
Steven, a graduate of Rolling Meadows High School and Benedictine University, had been employed with Fanatics in Northbrook. He was a soccer and basketball coach for the Arlington Heights Park District and enjoyed volunteering with Northwest Special Recreation Association at their Special Olympics events.
Steven is survived by his parents, Steven & Dawn Monson; his sister Lauren; his nephew, Dylan and niece, Emily; his paternal grandparents Clarence and Jeanne Monson; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends
