Susan Marie Sinopoli

Sue was the beloved wife of Anthony Sinopoli; loving mother of Grace Sinopoli and Joseph Sinopoli; cherished sister of Margo (Gary) Czechowski, Eileen (Rob) Jorgensen, Michael (Susan) Gavin, Kathleen Gavin (Phil Bither), John (Diane) Gavin, and Beth Gavin (Chris) Pearson; dear daughter-in-law of Kathleen (late Frank) Grippo and the late Joseph Sinopoli; fond sister-in-law of Josephine (Donald) Armsbury, Janine (John) Olivanti and Joseph (Patti Jo) Sinopoli, adored aunt of many nieces and nephews, and a treasured friend and neighbor to many.

She grew up in Glenview alongside her siblings and many lifelong friends. After graduating from Loyola University in 1985, she began her decades-long nursing career during which she touched the lives of countless babies, mothers, and colleagues. She married Tony in 1991 and they lovingly raised their children, Grace and Joey, in Arlington Heights.

She will be fondly remembered for her many amazing gifts, including a passion for women’s health, love of reading and nature, generosity, thoughtfulness, humor, and ability to see the beauty in each day and person.

Friends and family will gather for a memorial visitation for Susan that will be held Friday, October 27th, 2023 from 4 - 8 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, Illinois. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1775 Grove Street, Glenview, Illinois on October 28th, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
