Thomas Boyle, 96 of Mt. Prospect was born in Scotland on September 27, 1920 to James and Margaret (nee Greenaway) Boyle and passed away January 7, 2017. Tom was the beloved husband of Florence D. (nee Spence) Boyle; loving father of Thomas J. Boyle and William A. (Stacy) Boyle and cherished grandfather of Thomas Alexander, George James, Dylan Mathew, Nicholas Anthony, Wylie Ellen, William Spence and Holden Hamilton. Tom was very proud of being one of the “Original Desert Rats” while serving in the Black Watch. Funeral service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation, 3034 W. Foster Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625 appreciated.
