Thomas B. Kraft

Thomas B. Kraft, 85, passed away on February 19, 2024, in Arlington Heights, IL. Tom was born on April 15, 1938, in Chicago, IL, to Leonard and Theresa Kraft. Tom graduated from Cardinal Stritch High School in 1956 and went on to earn a BA from DePaul University in 1960, where he met the love of his life, Rosemary (nee Muhr) Kraft. The two were married on August 20, 1960, at St. Vincent Ferrer.

He devoted 55 successful years to Allstate Insurance as a sales agent, working at headquarters in Northbrook and opening his own office in Arlington Heights.

Tom was a compassionate and loyal man whose greatest joy was family; his daughters Rosemarie (Jim) Keane and Mary Anne (Mike) McAndrew; his six grandchildren: Thomas (Bridgette), Michael (Stephanie), Kiersten, Kathleen (Matt), Joseph and Anna; his three great grandchildren: Kennedy, Patrick and Emma; and his brothers: Donald (Eleanor) and Leonard.

An avid Cubs and Bears fan, Tom loved boating days on Powers Lake, WI, vacationing at Disney World, feeding the birds in the backyard, photography, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Visitation Friday, February 23, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Our Lady of the Wayside Parish, 440 S. Mitchell Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Burial following at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, IL.
