He died September 26, 2015 at University of Chicago Medical Center.He was employed by local 194 painters union.Thomas is survived by his wife Judy (nee Wuerffel) Tolan; his children Amanda (Dr. Nicholas) Testin, Corey (Martha Szara) Tolan and Henry Tolan; his siblings Janet (late Cecil) Furer, Joyce Puebla, John (Linda) Tolan, Dr. Patrick (Virginia Evans) Tolan, Diane (Dave) Bahrt, Francis (Robbin) Tolan II, Denise (Bill) Shaeffer, Dr. Charles (Laura) Tolan and Mary Kay (Jeff) Ams and by his sister in law Sue Owens and by many many nieces and nephews.Thomas is preceded in death by his father.Visitation Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 5:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
