Timothy Joseph Simmons was born on March 29, 1965 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Patrick and Elizabeth (nee Potts) Simmons. He died Monday, October 30, 2017.
Tim worked as a Locomotive Engineer for 35 years, most recently with Metra.
Tim is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Feeley) McCoy; children, Timothy Simmons, Laura (Dave) Sexton, Lisa (Tim) Juergens, and Ryan McCoy; sisters, Susan Simmons and Peggy (Christopher) Hendron; Grandchildren, Calli Sexton; Blake Juergens, and Jack Sexton.
He was preceded in death by Father, Patrick W. Simmons.
Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 am, Monday, November 6, 2017 at the funeral home, proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell Avenue, Arlington Heights, Illinois for Mass at 9:30 am. Interment Private.
