Mrs. Violet Jean Ort

She graduated From Elkhart High School in 1947. Violet married Richard Ort in 1954 and eventually moved and raised their family in Arlington Heights, IL. Violet retired after 26 years as a school secretary at St. Mary’s School in Buffalo Grove, IL. After retiring, Violet and Rich enjoyed the month of March for 12 years at their happy place in St. Pete’s Beach, FL.

Violet is survived by her Children, Kim (Mike) Ryerson, Marcie (Gary) Ochs, Richard (Kathleen) Ort; her six Grandchildren, five Great Grandchildren; and two Great Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ort; Grandson, James; Parents; Brothers, Donald (Elizabeth) and Robert (Jean Ellen).
