William John Engelhardt, 83, of Arlington Heights, was born on March 4, 1930, in Chicago, to the late William and Marie Engelhardt, and passed away peacefully at his home on August 15, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Meyer) Engelhardt; loving father of Andrew (Margaret) Engelhardt, Michael (Susan) Engelhardt, and Anne (Kevin) Ludwig; proud papa of Katherine, Carolyn, Hannah, Nathan, and the late Daniel; caring brother of the late Leonore Engelhardt. Visitation Thursday, August 22, 3:00 pm until time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights, IL, 60004. Interment private.
