William “Bill” Joseph Kramer was born September 5, 1942 in Elk River, MN to Bernard and Muriel (nee Braun) Kramer. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 12, 2017.
Bill served his country in both the Army and the Army Reserve. He was the owner and President of Kramer Datapower, Inc., and received many awards and accolades during his long and successful career as a manufacturer’s representative for International Power Machines Corp., Exide Electronic/Powerware, PDI, as well as Mitsubishi. Bill was an experienced pilot, skilled craftsman, an avid fisherman, and enthusiastic golfer. He was a devout Christian, servant of the church, and did volunteer work.
Bill is survived by his wife Patricia (nee Fredrickson) Kramer; his daughters Deanna (Peter) Mollett, Kismet (Musa) Saglam, Michelle (Karl) Batschke, Renee (Joe) Mancino; his stepchildren Lori (Mark) Stella, Lisa (Patrick) Dumoulin, Lynda (Michael) Price and Dan (D’Ann) Adams; his 25 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; his siblings Tom (Dianna Fink) Kramer, Lisa (Wayne) Hoglund, Julie (Bob) Martin, Kris (Bill) Malone and Mike (Jody) Kramer and by many nieces and nephews.
Bill is preceded in death by his brothers Bob (Jeannie) Kramer and Marvin Kramer and by his parents.
Memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on September 5, 2017 at Willow Creek Community Church Chapel in building B., 67 Algonquin Road, South Barrington, IL.
