Bertha Mary Klein Schultz

Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home-Bowen Chapel. Dr. David Mosser will officiate. Interment: 2 p.m. Blue Mound United Methodist Church Cemetery, Denton. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Bertie was born Nov. 20, 1919, on her family's farm in Sanger. She loved caring for children and family. She was a kindergarten teacher for many years. She worked at Pope Elementary until 2009. Bertie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a great friend to all. She will be missed dearly but we will celebrate her 91 years of life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin; sister, Ann Jagoda; and brothers, Ervin "Skinny," Ed and Tommy Klein.

Survivors: Son, Fred Schultz and wife, Sharon; daughter, Barbara Grubbs and husband, Bill; granddaughters, Cari Ann Schultz and Courtney Schultz LaFollette and husband, Phil; grandsons, Randy Grubbs and Ryan Grubbs and wife, Becka; great-granddaughter, Taylor Grubbs; sister, Ester Evans; and brother, Dick Klein.
