Darrell Dewayne Jones was born December 22, 1966 to Joe Mack and Florestine Jones in Fort Worth, TX and was raised in Tyler, TX. He fought a courageous battle with cancer over 2 ½ years and gained his wings on June 13, 2021.
Darrell attended Tyler Independent School District where he graduated from John Tyler High School. He loved life! He was at his best when he could spend time with family, enjoy a motorcycle ride or visit the flea market. He enjoyed adventure and welcomed camping, traveling, attending street racing, car shows and was nothing less than a master chef for the family. Darrell put his stamp on life and painted his canvas with bright colors, he never met a stranger.
Darrell worked for Quorum International and gained many friendships during his 18 years there. He came to Hope Church in 2015.
Preceding him in death were maternal grandparents: Dorothy Walker and SE Rainey
and paternal grandparents: OJ and Fannie Jones
He is survived by his wife Tammy Jones of 20 years, (daughters) Jameelah Jones, Kameelah Jones and Darylin Jones, (parents) Joe Mack and Florestine Jones, (brother) Kelvin (Nett) Jones, (sister) Kashundra (Chris) Foreman, (grandchildren) Aneiyah and Keion Seaton and a host of relatives and friends.
