Delores Gaddy

Delores died December 24th, 2023, in Arlington, TX. She was born October 25, 1939, in Hereford, TX to Lawny Dale Cannon and Claudia Hadley Cannon. Following graduation from Muleshoe High School in 1957, Delores went to work at the Baily County Coop in Muleshoe, TX. She married Marvin Gaddy of Muleshoe January 25th, 1958, and became a farmer’s wife. They lived on the farm at Progress outside Muleshoe until 1966 at which time they moved to Dallas, TX. Delores went to work as a secretary in the construction industry. She retired from Rhodes Office products of Duncanville in 2000. She and Marvin lived at Richland Chambers Lake before moving to Athens in 2005. Delores was as avid painter for many years up until she moved to Georgetown, TX after the death of her husband in 2010. Delores was also a big fan of the Texas Rangers. Survivors include son Donny and his wife Lori of Midlothian. Daughter Terri Whitehead of Round Rock, TX. Grandsons Travis, Trey, Tanner Gaddy, Michael, fiancé Maricella Montecinos, and Aaron Whitehead.
