Devin Jamal Carrillo, age 16 of Arlington, passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2019. He was born on September 7, 2003 in Harlingen, Texas to Manuel Carrillo and Mary Strough.
Devin and his family moved to Arlington from South Texas in 2011 where he made many new friends. Devin was a loving and caring person who enjoyed singing, dancing, playing board games and learning to play the guitar. Devin was active in sports at Martin High School and played soccer, football and basketball. He also enjoyed following his favorite teams the Saints, Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, and the LSU Tigers. Devin attended Fielder Church South Oaks Campus and was active in their youth programs. Devin loved his family and taking care of his younger siblings, all of whom will miss him greatly.
Devin leaves behind his parents Manuel and Misty Carrillo; mother Mary Strough; brothers Donovan Carrillo and Jarrid Strough; sisters Penelope Carrillo and Jada Boutcher; grandparents Manuel and Patricia Carrillo, Janie Strough and grandfather Jose Troncoso; and great grandfather Simon Carrillo.
